my drls come on, not my headlights, yall must have ****** up electrical systems. Well the lights come on with the yukon, but its an 07.


and the e brake only works on 00-02. Also the diode mod only works on 03 up, it wont work on 02 back.

I have an 02 Denali and I took the auto headlights off about three yrs ago. I just jumped two wires from the BCM and walla. Not sure what color wires off hand. I did this to prevent my hids from comig on automatically.

I wired my remote start/alarm so that during remote start operation, the alarm sends ground signal to the parking brake sensor wire so the truck thinks the e-brake is on. This keeps the headlights from coming on until I insert the key and hit the brake to exit remote start status. Depending on the alarm you may or may not have a 'ground during remote start status wire'. 2001 yukon, viper 5901.

Like Dismay wrote, you could use your Ground When Running wire from the remote start, if it has one. I wired it up like this:

It uses one relay to interrupt headlamp signal until you take over with the key. For 03+, it's A4 at the gray connector on the BCM. I don't know which wire it is on the 00-02's.

Or you could do the ebrake wire like Dismay mentioned. It's the same concept.
