GOOD HID Kit?

So I've looked around for like an hour now and I'm seeing like a hundred different companies selling HID kits... I can't seem to find a reputable place to buy from. Anyone have a really good experience buying a kit from somewhere? I'd like to buy a good kit for a decent price. I don't want to spend $40 for some garbage set that I have to replace in a month. HELP!

I got the 35 watt DDM Tuning in my truck. They are great. $29.95 with a LIFETIME warranty. IMHO you cant beat that.

umm.. excuse my ignorance... I'm not sure which kit to buy. I read a thread about the newer tahoes but not about mine! I would like both hi's and low's in 35w 5 or 6k. But I'm not sure about the bulb numbers and whatnot. Can someone help me out? Otherwise I suppose I could just call them on monday.

dj, have you had any problems with your 55w melting your housing? reason i ask is because im gna buy my little brother a pair, hes got an old explorer. i dont know if the 55w is safe in that junker maybe the 35w?

btw i also want a pair of the 55w but i want to keep my 8000k color. should i go with 10000k to keep the 8000k color?

whr 55 watt kit washes out some color so they said to go an average of 2,000K over. so if you want 8,000K go with the 10,000K

and no i have not noticed any melting or any of that.

lol what color? cus mine are 12,000K so then it looks like 10,000 cus of the 55 watt wash out

yea i figured that out, i took a look at their kelvin scale for the 55w, went with 55w 10000 so it looks more similar to my 8000k ebay brand fogs. got the apexcone 35w kit for the little bro went with 8000k, i didnt want him to go higher to attract unwanted attention to his car
