GMT800 RCSB Denali Interior Swap

Hey everyone,


I'm working on swapping the interior of my 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500 with a 2004 Yukon Denali interior. l've picked up the dash panels, door panels, seats, center console, and the actual dash frame that the clips go onto. I also took the steering column with the wheel intact, along with all the wiring that runs through the firewall to the fuse box junction.


I've already de-pinned the floor wiring harness, removing anything that supports the rear accessories, so now l only have the front seat wiring left. I also took the HVAC box from the 2004 Yukon Denali

Unfortunately, I didn't grab the fuse box junction in the engine bay, but I have a meetup planned to pick it up.

My main concern is that I didn't take the adjustable pedal electronic assembly, since I don't plan on using it. I'm not sure if leaving that out will cause any issues with the computer or if the swap will still work smoothly.

I'm somewhat mechanically inclined, but this project is a bit out of my comfort zone. I bought the interior on impulse because it was such a clean set, but I didn't realize how complex the swap would be.

Any advice or insights from those who've done similar swaps would be greatly ap y iated!

Following. I thought the electronics were the same for the 00-02’s and then changed for the 03-06 or something like that. I know my 02 Denali electronics aren’t compatible with the 03-up for instance. Good luck, hope it works out.

Correct. The 00-02 electrical system is not the same. GM decided to start using a CANBUS electrical system in 2003. And everything after
