Well, GM must be currently rolling in the dough. My brother and I placed orders for two 2026 fully loaded High Country Tahoe's in early December. Here we are in mid-February, and they are both still sitting in the order bank waiting to be picked and built. Our dealers GM rep has been no help and can't advise when they will finally be picked and built. Didn't think new car sales were that great at this time. Oh well, I guess we just wait..................... (Rant over LOL)

Probably because your dealer does not have an allocation for them?

Old guy told me years ago, find one on a lot you like, figure out what you'll pay, make the offer and be prepared to walk. You'll drive it home in an hour or so. Has worked for me several times.

Fantastic album. One of my Top Ten.

It was December of 1975 and I was on the USS Kitty Hawk CV63 and out in the middle of the ocean between Philippines and Hawaii and we were alongside a fueler/tanker and on our way back after what was my 4th WestPac and as soon as we hit port at Coronado Island, I was getting out of the service on Dec.15th.

All of a sudden, the tanker had their 1MC speakers cranked up full blast and they were playing, "I'm Going Home" by Ten Years After. All of a sudden hundreds of ship's company, on both ships, were standing out and waving across to the other ship. They were on their starboard side and we were on the port side with lines/hoses stretched and suspended between the 2 ships.

At that point, we did not care. This was our last "at sea" refueling before we hit Hawaii and from Hawaii to west coast did not require an at sea refueling. So many of us, including me, were getting out of the Navy, when we hit port. The song really hit home and reminded us of this being our last time on that carrier, that we had been on for 4 years.

Sorry. I get it.

Blame my off target post on me not being fully awake yet.
