correct, it would also have to break the rotor and caliper and such to actually come out of there.

well that was fun, not seeing how to delete the extra posts
if the hub broke off it would just come out of caliper as that is floating. it wouldnt hold it on . probably it woild destory it on way out but the caliper and rotor are not structural, only the hub and brake ancher plate (housing) are.. full floating makes hub separate from axle and attaches it to the stronger, housing instead.

as far as i know.

I just need tp break a few of these 10 bolts to see how they fail lol
