Are there any drop in fuel pump options that don’t require a return line setup? I have a Magnuson for my 2008 and it currently has a small cam so I’m sure my factory pump isn’t up to the task. I’m trying to see if there’s something better to go with than the factory flex fuel pump from a later year.

I have a Whipple supercharger on my truck with a stock cam, and while they did change the fuel rails and injectors, a different fuel pump other than the stock one was not required.

multiple pumps with pwm control. the first one can be left on the factory fpcm. there are a few controllers that mirror the fpcm signal to control the second pump - vaporworx was the company i think it got acquired by aeromotive. id leave the oem pump as the primary and can use a larger pump for the secondary. take some tuning not to upset everything but not that big of a deal
or dsx tuning has aux pump systems, that use map or throttle signals to turn on second pump but second pump just comes on 100% as if it were on a switch
the hellcat pump 525/535lph is the largest youll find that can reliably be pwm controlled, but i dont know if oem tahoe fpcm will be able to control it.

This is for the 2008 that doesn’t have Flex Fuel. I guess I could leave it and see if it runs out of fuel and do it later if needed. The OEM Flex Flex fuel pump seems to be readily available. The 13 has basically the same setup (the only difference is I’m going to use a 3.2” pulley on the 08 and the 13 will stay with the 3.3”) and the factory Flex Fuel pump seems to be good enough, the tuner never said it wasn’t.

Thanks for that info but I’m not interested in doing all that. I want a drop in solution or I’ll just use the factory Flex Fuel pump. This is a pretty mild build. The 13 is only running 6 PSI and I did go down one pulley size for the 08 but I doubt it’ll be more than 8 PSI.
