Passenger side is acting up, have play in the wheel 12 & 6 when I put the floor jack up under it.

You all have a part # for new Timken’ s or Moog front hub units!

Rock Auto is vague for the SSV models.

@PNW VietVet 4wd or 2WD? So you don't need the CV axle in to hold the bearing together? I have been in a few heated discussions about the myth that you need the CV nut tightened down to hold the wheel bearing together.
No you don’t. The older rusty hub only managed to last 182K. The new one is a Timken replacement.

the rig is a 2wd PPV. Old and new are the splined 4wd units.

You don't need the axle in to hold the bearings together on these particular hubs.

However, the older 4wd hubs for the square body S-10s most definitely did require having the axle shaft and nut to hold those bearings/hubs together.... ask me how I know... lol
