Does anyone know if seats out of a 2003 and newer NBS swap directly in to a 2002? Looking for tan leather seats that do not have the seat belt come out of the leather hole on the seat bottom. Want the belt to come out of the plastic cover on the side.

Boss goodmorning go into this site. I think it would be better to have the leather and foam replaced. Try this website, the seat shop. They sell both items and it would save you the money and electrical connections.

Sorry, I am not seeing a link for what you are talking about. I will try to just search "the seat shop".

The upholstery guy I know does not do this type of work. I looked at RockAuto and found all kinds of seat covers but is just fabric as far as I can tell and is just a new cover.

That’s pretty much what I was talking about except you can get the 2003 cover and foam like he is saying, but I’m not sure about the seat belt if you go that way. I think it’s different so you might have to get an 03 seat belt too. Good idea though. If you stick with an 02 cover you don’t need to change anything else. Plus the driver and passenger will be the same if that matters.

No problem, I found it already. When I punch in my rig it shows the oem color and identifies that it is the combination leather and vinyl, just like mine, but when I click on the color it only gives me the option of getting all vinyl or full leather upgrade but not available in the leather/vinyl oem option.

Have never swapped out seat bottoms or backs. If I just got the seat bottom is the swap doable without removing the entire seat?

I see the OEM leather/vinyl option in every color for the 2002.

Ive heard it’s possible but having done it, I would suggest that only if it’s impossible to remove the seat. It’s much easier if you remove it. Go to their website and look at their install videos so you know what the process is.

I just went into the site, unless you have the oak color seat it's not available in the OEM style. I have the light color leather and it shows that they have it in OEM style. My bad that it doesn't have it. I just wanted to show you that site cause it can save you some money just replacing the foam and leather. Yea you will have to take the seat out and take it it apart. Hope you find what you're looking for.

I do know a guy that works at an upholstery shop and does this type of work. I am going to see him and get a quote. I have seen his work and talked to others and he does quality work.

Ok, went to the local upholstery shop yesterday and they looked at the driver's seat problem I have. He then showed my why the seat also has some movement on the driver's side of the seat when flex it. There is a seat pan in there that is known for cracking and causing this movement. They weld it to fix, will do a complete new all leather, not vinyl sides, weld the seat pan and replace the foam for $300. I have had work done there before and I like them a lot. Pics will be sent out.

That’s a great price. Most places sell the leather piece for that much.

Yea, I felt it was more than fair plus I know they do it right. I am starting to get parts in for the other upgrades I am planing. Received the Corvette servo today as well as the trans filter and gasket and seal, AC Delco. New chrome section of bumper supposed to be here within 2 days. After all this is done the exhaust is next.

I myself saw an NBS Silverado with NNBS seats and center console. The seats were manual. For the power seats, it depends. It is definitely possible, if there's no memory option. If there is, it might be difficult.

Just got my 2002 Hoe back yesterday. The seat bottom vinyl has been replaced with leather and the metal seat pan was removed and welded and new foam installed. Way better feel and look now. The passenger front seat is in great shape.
