this sounds like a really easy thing to do. Bough my tahoe used, w/ 50k, but inside looks like as boomer said on his tahoe.." looked like a couple of coke'd up monkeys" were set loose inside. I have crackers, candy, gum hidden all over. but the seats have the same thing on them. but reading that forum, if you paint the seats and clean them down the road, will all this paint, dye come off?? and for those of us w/ tan interior, is the shale the color for the seats?

Thanks for posting this link.

My Yukon seats looked like new when I bought the truck with 25K on the clock. But they're showing some wear now. I suppose that's what the dealer used when they cleaned it up before selling it. I'd like to do it again.

Anyone here done this??
