Found the Yukon's electrical glitch after wife backed the truck into a wall

Excuse my rambling.. this is two years I've suffered here.. I know the truck has a backup camera and radar, she flys a multimillion $ B737 for work, I have no idea why she didn't look at the camera or behind her but... whatever, right?

It was the tail light harness, a connector was burned up.

I've had this electrical glitch in the Yukon since I replaced the engine and trans; or at least I thought it was because of something I did. The trucks electrical system would basically shut down. I would have to remove a battery cable to get it to restart. I haven't been able to tune this thing completely because of this issue, once I performed a 'drive cycle' where the ecu goes through it's EPA checks, the damned truck would reset. This has been going on for a long time.

I didn't realize the tail light was causing the issue because it was working, sort of, until my wife backed into a wall.. One lamp was out previously, but now it's broken and looks like a busted tooth. I finally got to replacing that and found the bad connector. I'm so happy..

I'll raise a beer tonight to all the guys who's ladies back their trucks into stuff.

When she backs up at work, there are people walking beside her waving wands!

Probably doesn't need to back up a 737.
