These things are REALLY hard to find in south florida. I mean, they almost don't exist. I really don't even care what condition its in. The ones I was looking at are in great condition though so thats a big plus.
Clean95 you lucky sob your truck.... Ugh its just so CLEAN! I'll be up there with you lifted soon.

Ha, guys its really funny that like all 5 of us in this thread always talk to each other about the same stuff. There are a couple people that haven't chimed in like 3 or 4 of the usual's but for the most part I think its really cool. I mean think about it, its pretty sweet. I feel like you guys are like real life acquaintances.

Hey I know I need a U Joint conversion? What does this entail? Just getting 3/4 ton U joints or what?

Precision 447 if you have a steel driveshaft or 448 if it is aluminum. That is what i found on GMFS

Is it out of a 4x4 or 2x4

4X4 992door. Not sure if its a steel or aluminum driveshaft. What sounds more likely?

blackcoffee : Have you acquired your 14 bolt yet? If so, how's it coming along? It would be nice to see some pics of the process or the final product *hint hint*.

I have to put my 14 bolt plan on hold for a little while since I don't have the extra cash to spare.

Hey Grimm, unfortunetly I have to wait until early next week to aquire another transmission. I ditched the 4L80E idea and went with a built up 4L65E so I'm waiting for them to finish building it. Then after I return my core transmission to them in a couple week I get $500.00 and that will go towards the 14 bolt. So it will be up to a month I'd say realistically. Things move slow around here ha.

Nice. Well, I look forward to hearing how everything turns out (Especially since I have similar plans) Depending on how much I get when I sell my other ride, I may have some left over cash to put towards a 14 bolt, then I can get my modifications started (but gotta pay lame ass bills first, so we'll see).
