Beautiful tahoe fosscore you really put alot of attention to detail and love into it, I hope my 06 comes out half as clean as yours. If you dont mind me asking When you dropped it on the 24s did you have any rubbing? I want to do the same wheel size and drop on mine and I'm trying to find out if I'll have any issues before I do it. Thanks again

Thx man.

Rubbing yes, but very little. See below.

The Front wheels on the rear part of the wheel well liner only at full lock.

There was a bit of rub on the driver side rear part of the wheel well liner. So we trimmed that off. You cannot see it from walking by.

Other than that, the ride is pretty good and the looks well ...aesthetically I enjoy looking at it every day.

Quick wash before the cold front drives it down to 85F.

Found this plate frame for dirt cheap at Orchards going out of business sale. So I bought the last two.

Gloss black and metal. I might try to color match it or just leave it black.

Caps to cover the screws are coming.

Might try to color match the other one for the Suburban when I get some extra time.

Been busy preparing for 12 girls at my house this weekend for a surprise birthday party for my 10 year old daughter.

Built her this dance floor. Hung up some new lights, disco ball and playlist are ready and even a special VIP girls only area in the living room. With lanyards and kid friendly bubbles.

No truck time lately, but had to wash the dirt off.

Thx man. I’ll take every moment with the kids over the truck, but I do love spending time with the trucks. Lol

Washed the fleet x 3 this morning (LS06/LTZ13/LT19). Dried and tires shined , but no time for detail as the surprise birthday party was rocking until 2100.

Friend’s black LTZ in the background. Needs a wash, but not my truck. Lol

Lots of prep work for the partyand it was worth every moment of her reaction.

And the MIL arrives from Australia tonight as well so maybe some detail time then.

What a successful party though. Blew my daughter away!!

Lacrosse tournament next weekend so road trip for the Burb up north. Time for the RES and headphones for the kids.

The dance floor was rocking with 14 girls ages 9-10.

Oh gotcha haha. Yeah I’d be that way with a rental too... I can imagine taking care of two long bodies because the family who lives in the main house where I live has a 2005 Esky ESV. :D

77777 miles.

Been having some hassle with my TPMS readings on the DIC.

The DIC was showing 37, 32, 34, 35 around the tires, but wouldn’t change when adding air and did not agree with the tire pressure gauge.

I stopped by the mechanics this morning and he leveled out the tires at 35psi and did a TPMS relearn for me and I was back in business.

5 minutes in/out and no charge. Win!

I took a rare trip down
I-95 to the PDR shop I have been wanting to stop in at. A father/son place that had great reviews.

They were working on another truck and came right out to discuss my truck.

They work by the panel rather than the mark and had a good look. They asked me what year it was and if I had redone the interior. After seeing the door jambs, he commented that the truck was indeed really clean.

Always makes you feel good when someone notices all the detail work you put in to make them shine.

So I have a couple of small dings (hey 12 years old) and some others you can only see at the right angle that are superficial. But man they had an eye for them.

He told me that the 4 most visible dings would run $500 or we can make the entire truck damn near perfect for $800 and take them 1 day. Gave me his card to think about it.

Drove back home and enjoyed the correct tire pressure and a smooth ride even on 95.

Turned over all 77777s on the odometer and the instant average MPGs were a number that I never see with the tow/haul ass button on and driving around town.

Was a pleasure to stretch her legs out as I really despise 95.

Used this guy when i was down there in the keys foss, nice guy, got a pretty bad one out my door when the wind grabbed it at a gas station and slammed it into a concrete pillar. Also took care of a few on passenger quarter panel. Good guy and he came to me, looks like he is in sarasota now. Maybe worth a shot https://www.keysdentrepair.com/

Thx man. Forgot to add the MPG pic. I’m going to try this fill up and drive ahem a little more conservatively and see if I can not finish in the the sub 10 mark.

The city stop and go traffic just kills it. And the BBP tune fun as well. Lol

Yeah the PDR work would be great. Will see.

Thx man. Sarasota or the Keys just a bit too far lol but there are others. Was worth the no-cost investigation at this point.

Looks like his panel rates are damn near the same quote as the guys I went to.

Mr. Dent down in Dania Beach for you S. Florida guys.
