I tinted my tail lights and 3rd brake light on my Tahoe and love the look, however not everybody will be able to see through them as good as others so I made a extra light for safety. Thought I'd share the idea with the Tahoe and Yukon owners!

What did you use to tint them? They look good by the way, I have been considering the led light bar too.

Looks good DW, the main reason I don't like those light bars is they seem to blow out individual LEDs in the bar after a while...VHT is a paint company with many products COnor, one of them being the Nightshade light paint!

i also dislike led bars due to their spotty look in a few years/months with single leds deadat random spots. i am going to do 2 red cold cathode tubes and wire them into the trailer harness. did this on an 02 silverado and it looked bomb.

This is not a LED light bar like you see on every other pick up on the road, this is waterproof LED ribbon light that's flexible so you can mount it wherever. The LED bar that goes on picks ups will not work on Tahoes because of the curve it has in the rear bumper. I got it from oznium.com

Oh DW that means you will be fine, the light bars work on Tahoes but just leave a small space behind the bar due to the curve!
Your Tahoe looks how it would on a 2/4 drop in your Photoshop, go Pedders (w/o insulators) or Belltech as they are the only quality ones that will achieve it!

Did you clear coat your lights? After the clear completely dried I water sanded with 2000 untill it was completely smooth and look like they were flat black. Then I buffed them out 2-3 times with rubbing compound with my porter cable set on speed 4-4.5 Then I used some Adams Swirl and Haze remover to hide any little swirl or scratches, then used some wax to seal them off:Handshake:
