I’ve searched the forum and the owners manual but can’t seem to figure out how to turn on or tune HD radio on FM in a 2023 Yukon Denali with the Bose system.

Has anyone else encountered this?

TIA

Not sure about the GMC but the Tahoe/Sub don't have HD Radio. Its one of the things I miss most from my Honda (that and adaptive cruise). Kinda disappointing for $72k, but it is what it is.

Shows it's a standard feature.

my 15' ram does it the same as seek. You seek and it grabs the signal, 5 seconds later it clicks over to HD automatically. You can then scroll to sub channels inside that freq.

My '21 has it. I don't recall doing anything different from a normal seek/scan to tune the HD channels.

Are you sure there are HD channels available in your area? We don't get any around home but they tune in without doing anything when we're in range of a station that has the hybrid channels. See an indicator on the radio dial.

the chip shortage was false just to create a over inflated car market i'm sure it vacuumed extra money out of you

if that is the case it worked ask toyota they had no chip shortage
I work in the semiconductor industry. There are many well documented issues related to supply chain issues in that industry. They were exacerbated by strong reduction in predicted demand for cars; and the general long lead time for building semiconductors. Then a lack of matching decline in auto sales.

This issue was not artificially created (unless you call the lockdowns due to CoVID artificial; they were real in that they actually happened, although one could argue they may not have been unnecessary.)

Your guess as good as mine…

I sure hope so. It's a standard feature on the Ford Expeditions and Wagoneer/Grand Wagoneer and I'm about 51% sure it's a standard feature for the Toyota Sequoia. I'm not aware of that being a constraint for any of those other makes/models. Expeditions can be delivered in 2-3 months after ordering.

I'm not convinced it's a constraint for GM and it's disappointing to not have for a $70+k SUV. My theory is that GM is intentionally not including HD radio at this point.

Thanks for the replies. I do have digital hd channels in my area. My wife’s Lexus tunes them in. I’ll try the scan, but I can’t tune it directly. In this case it’s an am radio station that now simulcasts in hd on FM
