Flowtech or Summit shorty headers

First off I know long tube headers are better but I just want headers that bolt up to the y-pipe since that and my cat-back are brand new, was looking at Flowtech and the Summit brand in cermaic anyone run either and have anything to say? And its for the 95 350 TBI Tahoe in my sig

before you pick one would you consider these?

coated or uncoated, with or w/o a.i.r.. retains emmisions and range from $550 to $850.

Don't waste your money on short headers, save until you can get some that will give you a decent increase for the money. There are some long tubes out there that cost no more than shorties.

Those look great tho

Cost isn't an issue, like I said my exhaust from the y-pipe is all new just want something to bolt in place of the factory manifolds

well these ones will replace your y-pipe but your converter stays in place.

I would stay away from the flowtechs their craftsmanship leaves alot to be desired. I've aways had good luck with Summit branded stuff, it's usually reboxed name brand stuff.

Shorty and mid length headers give plenty of performance over the stock manifolds, don't listen to anyone that says otherwise. You don't need AIR injection and the rest of the junk, simple plain pipes that bolt up.
