First piece of the puzzle. (done lift installed-PICS)

Finally made a decision on wheel selection among a few select canidates, a Fuel Octane 20x9. The tires I still can't decide on, but have a few in mind. Also going w/a 6" BDS suspension, which is looking to be get installed around the June timeframe.

FWIW, I have nitto trail grapplers with 17" Ultra Gauntlets. Considered the Fuel Octane but I personally didnt like the chrome rivets. I wanted all black

Wheel looks nice, better than ALL black IMO.
If you get aftermarket wheels, id like to be able to tell what they look like, even if far away. Solid black wheels blend in to the tire too much

Should look sick... you have a few options for the 33-35 area that will fit nice with that 6" lift.. Nitto, Cooper Zeon (more of a street cross over tread than a mud) BFG etc etc.. will look nice..

make sure the shop that installs has a touchless wheel machine to not F up the lips.. buddy had a shop screw 2 rims that were powder coated last month.. pain in but...

Yeah I don't mind the simulated rivets/bolts just as long as they aren't on the lip. There were a few of wheels that had a good design, but the the rivets/bolts were on the lip which killed it for me. At least with these it looks likes its kinda functional. Also shouldn't have a problem w/a shop that can mount them as there's a shop up the street that deals alot with the "donk" wheels.

John if ya don't mind what's the measurements from the running boards to the ground? Also found these(super swamper M16 35's) on the porch when I got home, have the BDS suspension in the garage. I'm getting pumped to see the tahoe up.

Got the wheels from the shop that's doing the install $50 apiece cheaper than anywhere I looked locally or on the net. Got the tires from National Wheel and Tire $50 discount on a set $50 shipping. I ordered the tires on a Wed and at the door Fri not to bad coming from WV to IL.

I'm dropping the truck off Monday @ the shop for the install, so I should be running over imports by friday sometime.

Picked the up the Tahoe Friday, and am pretty pleased with the results. The only issue was the shop ordered the wrong lugs and can't put the centers on. So they ordered open end lugs and should be here Monday. It's sitting 45" at the fenders, 20" bottom of frame.

That's awesome, I can't wait to see it with the centers on. If it were me id tint and colormatch the grille, maybe some clear corners, and thatd be it.

Got the centers on looks much better. I don't think the front needs to go up any it sits level. Gonna do alittle recovery from this and look to do some performance measures in the future.

can someone tell me what size tire i would be able to put on a 17 wheel w/o doing a lift. and if i need a lift to get the size i want, can i do something easy/cheap/safe to raise the front an inch or 2. ... thanks.
