Alright guys, so I am finally deciding to paint the front grille myself and need all the help and suggestions I can get on the process of doing this. I have 2 main steps I need the help with. And I need to know that it's worth it so if anyone has pics of this done I'd love to see them. I have a black Tahoe with black diamond mesh inserts and a black painted bowtie.... soooo as you know I'll be painting the grille black too. Thanks for your help

What I need help with

1. Disassembling/Taking off the grille
2. Painting it

Well I just painted my lower valance. Its pretty easy to paint, what really count is your prep work. Because its it's not completly smooth it will show.

Here's my thread for what I painted.

Oh speaking of lower valence's I saw yours a little bit ago and like it a lot. Would you suggest using sandpaper on both the grille and the valence? What kind of prep work is needed?
