Great now you have me googling Katzkins when I don't need them.

Who did your suede inserts?

The suede is different, why pay all that money for leather and then replace it though?

Truck has just shy of 150k on it now. Replaced the leather because the original was complete crap at around 130k, all cracked, worn out. Replaced it all around (except for the passenger rear bucket - still has the carseat in it and dont need to **** up the new Katzkin til the carseat comes out). Tuscany does cost a premium more, but it is so worth it. So freaking soft, but you have to take care of it for it to last.

Spray glue and suede ehh?

Bingo. Key is not to press too ******* the suede when you cover it and just let it grip on its own, otherwise the glue will come thru then youll have to redo it. Getting that insert panel off is easy. Take the door panel off, use a chisel to knock off the melted plastic tabs holding it on, cover the panel, then use some two part (I use 3M PN:8243) to hold it back to the panel. I like it, its not for everyones taste though.

Your truck is beautiful, man. Need some more pics of the rear. Would love to see some good pics of the shaved gate. Also, curious what made you go with the smooth Wilwood rotors versus the slotted or drilled/slotted?

Very classy build. Shame your selling it but I understand we all move on. Im sure it'll be an upgrade though so hard to fault you for that.

Your log has given me some ideas for my vehicle. I plan to paint my vehicle at some point and never thought to shave the wiper. Thing is broken anyway so why not get rid of it. I was certified in collision repair in high school and haven't done anything with them for ten years so it will be nice to use them for something fun on my current vehicle!

Thumbsup for you!

Got the lift in the new truck this weekend - Rough Country 7.5". Took me and my buddy about 5 hours start to finish, all in all not too bad. Ill post pics in a new thread.

Cut and sectioned in a cross piece from another Tahoe bumper. Cut out the grille and reformed it to be flat on the bottom. Lot of work but one of a kind.
