start by removing 4 plastic pieces they are held by clips (remove gently) the top plastic is held by 1 screw

Begin removing the top piece held by 3 screws and clips on the side. The light is held by only 2 screws and 3 clips also (be gentle with the clips)

After everything is removed then just repeat the steps just take your time and everything will be ok. Quick tip if you get the lights I bought you will need to remove the factory harness.
The lights come with a harness and plugs right in. The plug you will be plugging into is at the bottom of the rear bumper.

Did you test the lights before you put everything back together to see how hot the resistor gets? Where did you end up mounting the resistor? Any make/model info on those resistors or do they look custom done?

Anxious to see some pictures of the lights installed with lights on, blinkers, etc. Thanks!

I started this thread a while back with other good info on removing the tail lights for others...http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=62055

Yes I tested before putting everything back. Theses lights don't need resistors they are aftermarket not oem caddillac. It was just one plug that plugged into the factory harness no messing with any electrical. The hardest part about the installation was trying to remove the harness clip lol....

I agree, especially with a little dirt those harnesses stick tight. I have probably un-done mine about 50 times now. These must work exactly like the Yukon's tails then with LED's for the turn signals and brake lights. I am guessing then, that if they produce these to work with Tahoes they will have to install a resistor in each. Since Tahoes work with just incandescent bulbs except the night running lights for the tails. However, the video you posted does show a Tahoe with them....hmmmm.

Yes these light sync right in with the truck. Actually the people I bought these from make them especially for the Tahoes as well.

And work just like they are supposed to. Nothing needed just plug and play.

Install the lights and they are going crazy. Both blinkers come on at the same time and they blink fine for a second and rapid fire.
I have plugged and unplugged the repays but no luck. Any help??

I have a Tahoe. I'm guessing it because of the led of the tail lights. The lights are not worked correctly. I tried hooking them up different ways but no luck.
Blinkers blink togethers, brake lights don't work when the headlights are on and etc.
waiting on a call back from Vland regarding the issue
There were 4 relays, adapters with the lights

I'm guessing they hooked up the wires incorrectly. I see the resistors they usually install them for the turn signals not to blink fast. I'm sure vland will take care of the issue you are having. Over all do you like the quality of the lights?

I spoke with VLand about the issue. So far, great customer service. The guy called me Sunday night to find what the problems were. I think the quality of the lights are great. Very good.

update on the tail lights.
As of now they do not work for the tahoes. Their engineer is in the states now trying to get info for the tail lights. They will have a fix for them, but it might be a month or so long. This is from vland.
What do you guys think?

Man that's not good news. So now all you can do is wait.

update: Got a call from vland over the weekend and was told to cut 2 wires (green) from the adapters/resister and splice to the black wire that goes into the factory plug. Lights work now, BUT the brake and blinker come on at the same time. The brake light is the blinker and blinker is the brake light. They work together. Vland told me that Tahoe is using the old style wiring were the brake light is the blinker.
So they work, but do not work like the are suppose to. This is not good, because they would look so much better the correct way.

WOULD ANYONE KNOW HOW TO SEPARATE THE BRAKES FROM THE TURN SINGNAL? ???

By the way, these lights are top notch, but pretty expensive

the video from the Tahoe ebay site is the video I made to send to them. Funny how they sell something without checking to see if it works correctly

Can't u just wire the wires to the opposite wires. Sounds like you really close to getting then the right way.
