it's a 300$ tech 2 scanner that's unofficial, the official ones are like 2k and outdated. so you can buy a clone. if you've got any gm vehicles you plan to work on that fall within the years it covers its about the best 300$ you can spend. it does all the factory test procedures the manual will ask you to do while troubleshooting stuff.

It's a scanner/tool that the dealer uses when they work on these. A OEM one is around $1200.00 or more a china clone is like $300 does the same rhing

A Tech 2 clone is a Tech2 made by 3rd party manufacturers, mostly in China. You can purchase a Tech 2 clone for ~$350, whereas the original Tech 2 sold for over $1000, I believe.
