Hey All, new to the forum.
I have a 2007 Yukon 4x4 with over 200k miles. I'm looking to swap from a 5.3L to 6.2L engine. Any feedback, recommendations, advise...etc.

Here is an eerily similar recent thread on the same subject. You came to the right place for answers.

It's a direct swap, just drop it in. I have a whole thread in my sig on it.

It's 100% worth it. Upgrade your rear diff to a truetrac when you do it or it will eventually break like mine did. 6.2 in this generation came in AWD configuration or the 14 bolt 2WD configuration, so it could take the extra power of the 6.2.

The 5.3's have the 10 bolt and the g80 differential can't hold the 6.2 power for long in 2wd mode.

From everything I have read, along with the rear end, the 4 speed transmission on the 2007 will need to be beefed up.
