Having a problem with getting my emissions tested here in PA. I have a 2001 Tahoe, 5.3, and the service engine soon light came on about a month ago. The code was P0446 and I took it to the garage and they replaced the purge solenoid, part number: 214646. They advised to drive it for about 150 miles before getting the emissions tested. After 500+ miles, the emissions will not pass as two of the five tests failed. They are the Evap and catalyc converter. I noticed that when I take off my gas cap, there is alot of pressure coming from the gas tank. I replaced the gas cap and still have the same problem however I do not have a problem filling the gas tank. I am lost and not sure if I just need to take it the Chevy dealer to get resolved. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
