electricity shutting off?

I washed the engine yesterday, I doused it in cleaner and water. Then a couple of hours later I headed out. Just as I left my driveway, the music shut off, the headlights and all interior lights with it. I did get water in the alternator and possibly even the exterior fuse box. Should I be worried about this or just chill?

it 'should' dry out, good idea to cover alt and all electrical when cleaning engine with plastic bags.
