My 07 Tahoe has been doing the following for about a year or so:

I'll start it up and realize that the clock is reset. Also, the AC will be set to 74 degrees for driver and passenger, fan level 1, dash/floor vent combo selected, and aux engaged.

Once it starts doing this it will do it about every other time I start the truck... and I also know the worst part of it is yet to come. Every now and then, the truck will completely be dead electronically, I can't even unlock the doors with the fob. I can hear clicking sounds in the doors and dash, but the truck is absolutely electronically dead. It normally comes back in anywhere from 1-5 minutes. It has never died while it is running thank god.

I have found that if I disconnect and reconnect the battery, the problem will completely go away. But a month or two later the clock and AC will reset again and it will again start doing everything mentioned above.

Any ideas?

Search for "Bad Ground". I've seen numerous post about the NNBS having bad ground wires. I'd start there until one of the more experienced guys can post.

I forgot to add...
The dealership felt like it had something to do with my Bazooka tube. I wasn't sure if that had merit, or if they just had no idea so they pointed to something that had nothing to do with them.

When you disconnect and reconnect the battery, have you really cleaned the terminals and connectors well with a wire brush or sandpaper, and then lubed it up with dielectric grease or penetrox? Then make sure they're good and tight. Otherwise, start looking at grounds, like @Kenny D said.

They look pretty clean. I'll give em a good scrub and get some grease... and start looking at grounds.
