My 07 Tahoe has been doing the following for about a year or so:
I'll start it up and realize that the clock is reset. Also, the AC will be set to 74 degrees for driver and passenger, fan level 1, dash/floor vent combo selected, and aux engaged.
Once it starts doing this it will do it about every other time I start the truck... and I also know the worst part of it is yet to come. Every now and then, the truck will completely be dead electronically, I can't even unlock the doors with the fob. I can hear clicking sounds in the doors and dash, but the truck is absolutely electronically dead. It normally comes back in anywhere from 1-5 minutes. It has never died while it is running thank god.
I have found that if I disconnect and reconnect the battery, the problem will completely go away. But a month or two later the clock and AC will reset again and it will again start doing everything mentioned above.
Any ideas?
