Hi guys
I have a 2008 Tahoe LTZ with 96000 miles. Almost 2 weeks ago one of my license plate lights went out. Simple enough, so replaced the bulb and all was well. Just yesterday the power lift gate would not work. No movement no sound no nothing. From either the fob or interior button up front. Opened it manually and the power close button wouldnt work either. I let it sit for a min then tried again. This time I could hear the motor but the door wouldnt move. After another min I tried again and it opened and closed totally like normal. Today, my right rear directional stopped flashing. The bulb is fine though, it lights up when the lights are on. It just wont flash with the 4ways or directional. I even replaced the bulb just in case but same thing with new bulb. The right directional now does a fast double flash. Then a bit ago I just noticed the front amber indicator light on the drivers side isnt working. So far these are the only symptoms but the first thing I worry about is the BCM. if anyone has any advice on things I can check I would appreciate any help. So far everything Ive checked doesnt have corrosion and the wiring looks ok. Havent checked fuses though.
Forgot to mention, I also had an issue with the transmission. Shifted into reverse but it seemed like the tranny was in neutral when I hit the gas, it just revved, though it showed R. Put it back to park, then back to reverse and all was fine.
