Electric fans

Has anyone installed or added an aftermarket relay for their fans to run after engine shutoff, like the expensive Flex-a-lite fans? If so, pls explain?

I have upgraded from dual 500w (standard cooling) to the k5l dual 700w fans (enhanced cooling) and a slightly thicker core radiator, but if you add something to run after the engine is shut off it wont do much but cool whatever is in the radiator and kill your battery pretty fast.

I have the dual fans and Mishimoto radiator, just looking for it to cool down after shutoff, like flex-a-lite does

You don't need another fan to do that just add a timer relay something like this would work, just wire to the existing fan relay

it's not going to do much unless you got an 12v+ Aux water pump to go with it. which will draw another 10amps
