I installed my dual zone front/rear subwoofer system yesterday. In the front under the center console I added a JBL powered nano 6x8 subwoofer. I band passed it between 100hz and 150hz for more of a mid bass front fill. Next to that is an Alpine mono amplifier that powers a down fired 12” subwoofer in the hatch. It’s directed under the back seats and hidden under a false floor that also provides a rear storage compartment. Rear subwoofer is crossed over for 100hz and down. After matching gains it has a nice seamless low end that fills the passenger compartment without feeling like it’s rear loaded. I’m very happy with the outcome.
