Suddenly my 2022 GMC Yukon Denali has developed a mind of its own and changes the driver alert "beeps" to "seat vibration". I go into settings and change the alerts back to beeps and this lasts for a few days and then the next time I drive I notice I am getting Seat vibrations instead of beeps. Anybody else with this problem or know how to correct this?

Yes, I have and still continue to have the same experience. Have you found a resolution?

My 2023 Tahoe Premier does the exact same thing. I’ve reset everything, tried disconnecting things like phones etc. I think it is related to the most recent software push we all received. It’s annoying as shit.

2023 GMC Yukon Denali - Beeps reverts to vibration almost daily. Have been unable to figure out a pattern or induce “flip” with same shutdown/startup procedure.

Is it a programming error, forcing a reset or is it intentional? In this day of corporate legal concern, maybe GMC firmware guys have been instructed to program vibration as a default to protect users that mistakenly or unknowingly set beeps by mistake!
Just throwing that out there!
Footnote on 2023 GMC Yukon Denali: Both keyfobs were programmed with exact setting, except seat position.

I came to ask this same thing because it’s annoying. I don’t think it has to do with the update because my Yukon has been doing this since I bought it in October 2023. Dealer knew nothing about and I haven’t been able to get it to stop.

Is your beeps -> seat vibration random? Sometimes mine will stay on beeps for a couple of days and/or several trips. -Red Wolf

Same issue. 2023 Tahoe High Country. Calling GM. Has to be handled with the dealer. That went nowhere.

Still not resolved on my 2023 Yukon Denali. Happens less frequently, but still cannot correlate to any driving patterns. Daily drives with 3/4 stops/starts. Sometimes I have gone for a couple of weeks, before it changes. Other times just a couple of days. Keep bugging the tech guys at the dealer.

Did you guys try to save the settings via seat memory button?

I have a 2023 Yukon XL Denali with the exact same issue. GMC says talk to dealer and dealer has no fix. Very frustrating. I set it on "beeps" and it changes to "seat vibrations" on it's own, sometimes the same day I cahnge it, sometimes a week later, kind of random.

I sent a certified letter to GMC customer support and they actually called me; only to say take it to the local dealer for analysis. I did that and left it with them for tw days. They could not reproduce the issue but discovered that one of the key sets was programmed to "vibrate". I have not used that key set since I bought the vehicle so I don't think that was it. They reprogrammed it to "beeps". I picked up my vehicle and it has done the same thing 3 times in 10 days. No particular patter as to how many starts and stops or distance or time driven. GMC has been in contact with me since and said they will discuss with service manager of local dealer. Waiting to hear back.

finally GM has agreed to replace on of the many modulators (being done today). Apparently they have had this problem before and replacing the modulator fixed it. We will see.............

This did not fix the issue, actually made it worse. Next step is to replace the entire radio/infotainment center; waiting for part to arrive

I have a 2023 GMC sierra Denali and I having the same issue. I owned 5 GM trucks and got used to the beeping alert.

12 days in owning my truck, my phone fell and I reached over to pick it up and the car in front of me stopped short, because my I wasn’t fully on the seat I didn’t feel the vibration and ended up rear ended the car and happened again when reversing and didn’t notice a loading dock and ended up hitting it. Again, I was not fully on the seat. This is two car accidents that definitely would have been avoided if the beeping alert was on. The dealership continues to tell me that it’s an intermittent issues and there’s nothing they can do. I’m stuck driving a vehicle that’s I feel isn’t safe. At this point I need to get this fix somehow. Please advise. Thank you.

Please keep us posted. Two car accidents because of this. Mainly my fault, but definitely would have been avoided if the beeping alert was on. Thanks.
