I have an issue with my door panels. The leather material that they're made out of is lifting at the grab handles. Any idea how to stop this/ how to fix. P.s tried super gluing it down on the passenger side didn't hold.

I used this on some separating leather trim on our Infiniti and it worked great.I have an issue with my door panels. The leather material that they're made out of is lifting at the grab handles. Any idea how to stop this/ how to fix. P.s tried super gluing it down on the passenger side didn't hold.
I think you know the answer to that. You can find used ones. Look on eBay.So I found out that the plastic the leather is clipped into is broken and falling apart any fix? Or do I really have to replace the door panels.
You’re lucky. The NNBS door panels are a poor design. They always break at the pull handles and you can’t buy just the handles.Actually believe or not I fixed it. Got some sole repair broke off all the piece of broken plastic and boom. It's held fairly well.
Heat staked? I have disassembled many of them. The handles are separate but the design sucks because all the plastic screw races break and there’s nothing to hold the handle on. Not sure if that’s what you mean. I converted my Silvy from an LT to LTZ interior and it took me several used panels before I found ones that didn’t fall apart.Even if you could buy just the handle part, it wouldn't matter because everything is heat staked together so once you take it apart it won't be going back together.
