Dome lights flash

When I am driving at night, the center dome lights will flash inconsistently. It goes away after a while but it is really annoying for my passengers. Any ideas?

What year? Model? IIRC, some had to have their dome light modules replaced. Out of warranty, they replaced them themselves with units from fleabay.
