Do I need the Kent-Moore J-43484 for the front TC seal?

I'm going to rebuild the Borg Warner 4485 TC in the Yukon and I'm curious if I need this tool or what other methods work to seat the seal to the correct depth.

You need something to seat that seal properly so it doesn’t leak. I made a tool (after the first seal leaked) that worked, but fixing a leaking seal on the truck wasn’t much fun.

I have one and can’t say that it works any better or worse than a large race welded to a thick rod.
I will however say that a piston hammer works best for installing any of the output seals (front/rear, pinion).
