I thought I would be done with suspension mods haha.
I doubt I will sway my rear springs again, but I may consider the free travel mod.

I would, I bottom out all the time now. If you did these springs, there would probably be no suspension travel.

how in the world are you sitting at 31.5" in the rear?!
thats almost impossible or you just bottom out on every single bump there is in the road

Tony where exactly do you put the new bump stop when you cut the bump stop bracket off?

on the frame or on the axle?

Put the bumpstop on the frame if you can compress the suspension untit it is close to touching the frame and install the bumpstop in that location, here is a pic from the djm free travel write-up:

I do bottom out all the time. There is maybe a inch of travel with the bumpstop brackets in.

there is suspension travel just make sure to use 1/2 inch aftermarket bumpstops

I meant with these springs, and bump stops not cut.

If you have djm 5 inch drop springs in your truck it will sit about 1/2 to 3/4 inch lower and ride better

I dont think you should tow with these springs, but maybe some helper bags would help with it. If you do a lot of towing, go with the djm 5" tahoe springs.
