Okay so I hate to be a tease (and not have any pics yet), but I have just finished cutting my headlights apart and I have painted the orange reflector black to match my tahoe. And I have a bunch of pictures along the way so that you all can see just how easy it is and how sweet it looks when done. Paint is drying now and then I will be putting it all back together and finishing my pictures for the DIY. Hope some of you are excited to see this thread come about:)

More to come...

You gotta do a writeup for your fellow members with pics. I know there's a walk through for the silvy's on GMFS, but we need one over here.

Not as easy as the older lights where you can just bake them to soften the adhesive...the newer lights do need to be cut and it is fairly easy especially with a dremel...the hardest part of the whole process is resealing the lense to the housing..making sure there is enough sealant to prevent water and air leaks but not too much that it squeezes out and can be scene inside the light. As with the others...WE NEED PICS AND A WRITE UP!!!!

Hey guys I just wanted to apologize for the HUGE delay with the pics and updates. I was so stoked about this project that I let the cat out of the bag a little too early and I want to explain all but I need pics to have a good explanation. But until then, the long story short is that I am a hard core car enthusiast who does all my mods myself and this would definitely be rated a 9.5 out of 10 in the difficultly area. Didn’t turn out as planned (not happy unless it is perfect) and it did not turn out perfect.

Explanation and pics to follow sometime soon. for all of you brave enough to dive in as I did, I recommend you buy a trail headlight on ebay to have a trial run first. Its hard!!!!!!!

Looks like there will be no pics!!! Sucks when you read all the way through a thread and come to a dead end!!
