Hey guys, does anyone know how to change the bumpstops in the front? Cuz I need to put new ones in I think because I cut the front bumpstops super short (almost to the cups that hold them) not knowing the theory of how the torsion bars worked and that the bumpstops actually need to always rest on the a-arms. Am I on the right track?
They just pull out, just grab them and yank em out at an angle, can use a screw driver to help get back in. they r held in by 4 indents in the cup. Replace with some Z71 jounce stops. Much better ride IMO-Max got me on them and they ride better anyways.
You are right on using jounce stops. Are torsion bar suspensions are made to use them, acts like a progressive rate spring. I have run with stocks, cut stocks(different heights) no stops at all, Z71 stops, cut Z71 stops, and finally found a height that works for my setup and feel with cut Z71 jounce stops. But the Z71 stops felt the best compared with stocks.
Looks nice, how is the ride with those? btw, what are vent caps? lol

It rides very nice. Better than I was expecting for 26's. And the ride is about to get a lot better too.
Got a big box from Tony today. I wonder what could be in it?... haha any guess's..

Tubular arms.
NICE!
Love to get a set of these for my Yukon. Some day. Lol
Yea for sure dude. Im gonna install them Saturday. Can't wait. And it'll be a perfect time to pull the vent caps and repaint them.
What color?
Flat black. I'm not a big fan of the color matched vent caps. Unlike how flat black flows with the rear upper half being the dark tinted windows and having the vents black also to me flows nice.
In n Out bro, Fam keeping me occupied. Catch me lurking most days, lol. Thanks bro, Tahoe has been thru some changes-again. Always something right. What's new with you?
Knobz, ass end looks better with that pipe cut tho, clean
