Just got my 35 watt 3K hid kit in the mail but it didn't come with instructions. How would I go about installing these bad boys in my fog lights?

Heres some pics of what I got. 35 watt, 3K, 880 bulbs. My biggest question is the two separate wires? they look like they should have a connector so i can plug and play but i'm really not sure what to do here.

Just plug the spade connectors from the ballast into your foglight plug, and it should work. With most HID kits you'll have to plug the in backwards (positive to negative and negative to positive). You can wrap the plug in electrical tape or something else to make it more water resistant.

^ + 1 The black = ground blue = positive, they just plug back into your OEM harness that would usually plug into the light. Well that's how I did mine.

Took FOREVER for mine to arrive. Dont want to bad mouth DDM as they were nice over the phone but, c'mon. I ordered on May 19th and just got them yesterday as the bulbs were on backorder. Hopefully I get them installed tomorrow and all is well! Thanks for the tips!

Are you guys using the stock fog light assembly when you isntall the HIDs? I am about to order the DDM slims for the fogs but wasn't sure about that piece inside the stock assembly, fitment issues, etc.... thx

What's the difference between the apex cone raptors and the slim ballasts?

The slim ballasts are just that. The Ballast box is thinner, so it takes up less space. On my Tahoe I got the Apexcone Raptors and had no issues with finding a place to mount the ballast. Maybe for my bike I'd want the slim ballast since space is limited.

DDM kits took over a month to get mine and it bs that plugs werent included simply wires and no instructions. I ordered my last 6 sets via the link that was once posted and I get my set within 2 days max, instructions and PLUGS that make it plug n play not to mention they actually warranty bulbs if they burn out.

I ordered the low beams and fog lights for my 08 sierra from DDM, took like 3 weeks. Kit was plug and play which was great.

Few weeks after that I ordered a set of 9007 hi/low beam for my brothers birthday for his truck. Took like 5 days to arrive. Lights look and work great. No installation issues.

Shipping time sux, lights work great.
