Does anyone know how to stop from having the day time running lamps on?
My stock headlights and bumper lights are all yellowed out, i dont want the day time running lamps on during the day. I think that will keep the new ones clear longer....

I just ordered a set of headlights/bumper/corner lenses from ebay and ill be using silverstar ultra bulbs.

i think what makes them yellow is the sun and salt from winter. and debris, etc.

Yes sir.

Also, run a bead of silicone around the corners and the headlights to play it safe.

on the new lights themselves or around the edges of the bulb where it goes in the socket? they tend to allow moisture in?

The housings themselves. Corners will collect moistire. Headlights shouldn't but better to be safe. Ebay quality is spotty at best.
