So it's been 15 degrees here in DFW for all week, I decided to get out yesterday after my 04 tahoe sitting for a couple of days w/o driving. It took a good 5 mins of cranking over before she finally started and was rough idling for a few more mins after.

What's the deal? Is it just because it's so damn cold out?

Battery probably needs replacing. Mine starts right up at a lot colder than that without any issues. If you get a chance, take it up to Auto Zone or O'Reilly's and have them run a battery test on it.

Battery was replaced in September, it's turning over just fine. The truck was acting like it wasn't getting any fuel, weird.

That's interesting I wonder if it's your fuel pump then. If it's getting weak I guess it could potentially be affected by the cold. How full is your gas tank?

Filled up all the way full. W/e it is, it doesn't like the cold.

I'd vote it being a weak fuel pump then but obviously I'm not 100% certain about that without being there with the vehicle when it happens but it makes sense to me in my head If it was mine, I'd probably have a shop look at it and confirm the diagnosis and then replace it in my driveway when the tank is closer to empty so that it's not so heavy to drop the tank when replacing the fuel pump
