Corvette servo questions

I've been debating the corvette servo for a while now, and after seeing some videos I'm leaning towards doing it.
I have 167k miles on my transmission and the best way to describe it is sloppy, doesn't slip or anything, just has sloppy shifts.
Will the vette servo firm up my shifts? What about the life of my tranny? I usually drive normal with some aggressiveness mixed in, this won't reduce my transmission life right?

That's the feeling I'm having now, I'm excited just thinking about it, just don't what to harm a higher mile trans, that is if it's possible for it to do harm

It will only help it. But getting it tuned will help it even more.
