After two weeks of driving a rental (300C) I picked up my truck last night and i'm not sure if it's because i'm sick or what but I noticed i'm not as happy as I thought I would be. To me it looks like the front bumper is crooked and the infamous gap between the bottom of the grille and the top of the bumper seems to bother me a lot more now than before.
I chose to have the chrome bumper replaced with the painted version along with the grille, I had them paint the bowtie to match and added an HD hood.

Should I do the washer trick myself to fix the gap or should I take it back and have them correct it?

Here's a few pics let me know what you all think about it.....

This is a Before pic

This is the reason I decided to make the change

:waytogo: looks great man! That gap would bug me, too, though. I'd try the washer trick and see how well that does and go from there.

Gap is definitely noticeable. Didn't know there was a trick to fix that. Definitely take it back and have the shop correct it. Did you get the rear bumper colormatched as well?

I'm going back tomorrow, the back bumper is next up but I'm thinking of maybe a denali rear bumper or maybe an escalade I'm not sure yet.

Looks good colormatched.

And yes that gap needs to be fixed NOW. Either by you or them.

Carcrz, does that go over the rear bumper? How much you want for it shipped to NJ 07508?
Thanks

NJ04HOE, just something I notice about the new front, is with it ALL being the same color, and the only thing standing out is the lights and gaps, and imperfections are going to stand out more; dare I say it, maybe a stock chevy emblem in the grille could do it some good, throw a little offset to the paint. Just my 2 cents, but thank you for updating us, I'm really hoping to do this in the summer, and I cant find a lot of threads on here of guys pretty much doing a z front end convo

Looks great! Definitely would be annoyed with the gap too but I like the color matching a lot.
