The flares had to many scratches on them. I never liked them. I thought they looked like a borg implant added on after the fact. I prefer them off. If I was going to repaint them I might have kept them on. Becides with them off I can keep the paint under it rust free. i couldnt beleive how much surface rust was on the paint. I managed to get most of it off with a quick rub. I will get the rest off when i give it another good clean.

Great job, I bet that was a lot of work!

You've definitely got a sharp truck....get rid of the rest of the badges and color match the door handles and that thing will look sliiiiiiiiiiiiiiick!

Im at a toss up with the badges. I like them but do agree it would clean it up more if they were off.

I replaced mine with the 07+ emblems, they look a lot better than the 00-06 emblems. I did it because I didn't really want the shaved look.

It just dawned on me why all you Tahoe owners like de-badging your trucks...:buffer: So you can pretend that you have Yukons from most viewed angles!

The preceding has been a joke...:happy175:

I don't think anyone should have to drive around with all that advertising glued to their vehicle. I love the way my hoe looks without the badges.

I don't care if people think my truck is a Yukon, Tahoe, or Escalade...I just don't want all that crap on my paint. The bow tie on the grill can stay but thats only because I'm not willing to pay for a grill that doesn't have one.

Your truck looks way better without the flares and the black trim. If it's painted it looks ok but that black trim on the sides makes it look so cheap.
