I'm looking for a cat back bolt in exhaust with a little rumble for the Lade. I had a custom made exhaust on my Tahoe but it was a bit loud. Anybody have one installed and happy with it?

I can't tell you for sure, but I heard the Gibsons are not too loud. That is what I am going to put on my truck shortly. I am looking at the dual same side exit on amazon for less than 400. When I have the extra funds I will post results.

Is that for stainless steel or aluminum?

I'm running a Magnaflow on my 6.0L Escalade, it has a little bit of drone but not too loud and not too intrusive.

I would suggest spenting the money on stainless steel. I had the aluminized Gibson system on my Suburban and it rusted up and fell apart in the last few weeks. It was good. It lasted me seven years and 100k. I just went back to the factory system for now.

No drone and sounds nasty at WOT

I third the corsa performance cat back kit! Amazing sound no inside drone direct bolt in and fits well! I have had it on my esky for 2 years now and love it! In the last 2 month i put some american racing long tubes and no cat on the truck and now it sounds really mean and nasty all the time even idle!

Mbrp is notorious for rusting out. I have a dyno max fast flow system that sounds nice and drone is minimal. Aluminum and has held up well for 4 years in MN.

I was looking at the mbrp exhaust and I like how it is stainless, but I love the way the dual exit looks on the same side. Maybe I will put out the few more dollars once my silverado sells for the gibson stainless dual exit single side exhaust, that one is about 500 with shipping.

I've got a full Gibson shorty headers and dual split catback. IMO it's not intrusive during normal driving conditions but it will roar at WOT. No drone!

The dual outlet on the same side reminds me the ford trucks. if you're going to spend the money on duals do it right and put one out each side in the far corners. Not straight out the back under the bumper either.

I do not like split duals. My wife may drive my truck once or twice and that is enough for the tips to be at different heights. The ones on her pacifica are out of allignment on both sides and look like hell, she likes to back up to parking curbs and go a bit too far.

get on amazon and buy a 3" stainless MBRP catback, its just over 300$ shipped.
It bolts on extremly easy and sounds great!
Its quiet when you want it to be and sounds great under WOT, with no cabin drone.

I have the MBRP cat back on my Tahoe and it sounds great. Still quiet at idle and cruise but loud when you get on it.
