can not decide, demold or not

i can not decide if i want to do this or not does anyone have any before and after pics to help me in my decision i have been searching through other threads but still not sure because not many before and after pics, especially for the 00-06, i guess the good thing is its easily reversable if i do not like

I never had molding on mine, but you can check out my sig and see what it looks like without it.

Well i am by no means a photoshop person, but been playing around with it...
saw this pic in your album, and used it, (if you dont mind) and took the door moulding off.

thats awesome thanks so much, its funny i have photoshop but no idea how to use it lol, i guess now the question is if i like it better o not i think it looks more police like, if it isnt too hard can you make the polished lip on my rims black?

No problem, Honestly i have no idea what im doing either. lol... i havent figured out how to do little things, like paint something black, like you asked. But heres a pic of what i did. Not painting, but hey from a distance it works.. lmao..

I forgot to mention, i lowered in these pics also.. lol..
lowered, demolded, painted bumper, grille.

that is soo kool, its funny cause i have been staring at the pic trying to decide and i kept thinking something looked different but i couldnt put my finger on it, thats awesome cause i ordered my 2/3 lowering kit, and now i can see what it will look like if i do everything i am thinking, the chrome bumper sure sticks out

LOL.... yeah its dropped, thats not 2/3 though... Yeah i noticed the bumper also, i tried, but ehhh no... i'll have to play around somemore or see if can find out how to paint things like that..

man that is so kool, i love the grill and the bumper, now i just have to figure out how to do it, can i paint over the chrome? is there a way to prep it, anyone with experience

To do it right, blasting it, or at least getting all the chrome off would be better, but sanding it down good will work probably just as good.

wow thats like night and day it looks so much better on yours without, thx, what do you think of mine is the photoshopped pic? also did you take off with fishing line?

No problem. The photoshopped pic looks awesome. I especially like the color matched one. I live in the hot Arizona desert so I actually just pulled them off by hand and then removed the adhesive left behind. I have removed badges in the past with fishing line though and it works great.

If you have the money def sand blast the more you get off the better. Your bumper is gonna need to have the paint stick really well because its what eats rocks.

ya im doing this weekend for sure, i like that if i dont like i can just reapply, but i have a feeling i will love it, im alsoe going to paint my rims and grill
so wish me luck
