Minor update, just talking about the radio. I did find where you can adjust the day/night auto brightness levels on the screen. Also day/night mode does properly change when the headlights turn on. Also, Android Auto was made with big screens in mind, i'm loving the screen. Tried to snap these pictures from a driving perspective so you can see the screen doesn't affect field of view at all

"day" mode / light mode while headlights were off

"night" mode / dark when the headlights kicked on

Does the dimmer rotary knob work on the screen or is that set on the screen itself?

That is a physical knob. And multi function. Works for volume. Changing radio studios like old school, an then if you swipe right it works as fan speed or temp control. You can switch the function by clicking it

Also. Reverse camera now works. I swapped the adapter harness and now i have my backup camera!

Idk if the screen is higher definition or if it's just bigger. But even. Though it takes a second fit the rear view camera to pop up, it's so much better then the factory screen

So if anyone wants more info on the Linkswell screen, figured i'd post a more in depth review in the appropriate section. Being that i've been DD'ing for the last 2 weeks, with the big screen, i think it's appropriate i post my thoughts on it now. to sum them up, i love it.

The dealer installed a digital camera in the mirror but the OEM back up camera eventually had to be replaced. The picture was never great but its okay now especially working in conjunction with the HD digital mirror.

Loki, you've clearly done yeoman's work on your vehicle. Have you considered the SAT map view on AA. I have a AAWireless adapter plugged into the "hidden compartment" behind the screen and that image detailing setting of Sat view never fails to impress passengers who often think that the 'Burb's SSD (hard drive was drawing the info as we drove).

I'm interested in getting the Fogs and headlights coming on automatically. The Xenons on mine seem to do a great job although I might end up getting the bright's updated with LEDs.

I've always hated satelite view within GPS. I prefer the more simplified view when looking at maps, but that could be because i learned to read maps back in the day when they were physical maps that could block out half the vehicle while the passenger frantically fumbled with it to figure out where they were.....

In terms of the mirror camera, i hate those. Worse then Gollum hates the hobits. I prefer the larger screen, which honestly made the camera itself better as well. Although i do have occasional connection issues with the camera, which i think is likely vehicle wiring related more then anything else

The fogs coming on with high beams is kinda nice, i actually have upgraded fog lights to install just finding time is hard. I thought i would have time this coming weekend to work on the burb some, but it's gotten bumped by a couple other more important projects already......maybe i'll have time to mess with it. Especially if i take money off.....i mean, why should i work Monday? when i could do other things.....
