brighter license plate bulbs (194)

So I am looking for some brighter bulbs for the licence plate lights I know there 194 looking for maybe a blueish color any recommendations? was looking around saw a few different kinds don't know what a good brand to go with is, if you have any links post them, thanks for the help

Sylvania sells some cheap bright bulbs. I replaced mine and they are a whiter light but not too bright.

The 360's will definitely brighten things up ALL the way around.... just not sure why ya' need THAT much light just for license plates

Escahoe I originally bought a boat load of the 120 degree standard leds from them and while it made a good difference in the plate lighting I have come to the conclusion that the 360 high power smd's are going to be so much better since light output is not directed just 120 degrees at the end. I would not suggest them unless I have done the engineering thinking behind it. When I have some extra cash I will change the out as well as the other leds I put in reading, front markers and doors. I believe the tri-wing ones will fit under the dash to light up the floor. Boy that will cost some dough. If I cant come up with a use for the 120's afterwards I will give them away here.

lol I am gonna be getting the rear bumper repainted next and picking up tail lights and tinting them, I don't like the yellowish color of the stock bulbs want to make it brighter to match the HID's I have in the headlights

LOL... OK Jonathan I know your a smart dude, with engineering experience but as a fellow Tech with my experience, I'm just not understanding this sentence.

I mean... their just plug-n-play lighting bulbs for a license plate.... he's not building a lighting system for a power grid.

Sorry I can never explain it clearly. I take all the specification data available of the parts and the application to ensure a proper fit and function while maintaining reliability with improvements and life expectancy worth the cost of the upgrade. Kind of a balancing act really.
