Clean. Looks like mine, almost near perfect except drivers seat. Not hard to replace just so damn expensive
Well it's a little PIA lol
The driver's side seat bottom leather is on my Esky to-do list as well...Thanks, ya I did the cover on my OBS Tahoe was kinda a pain, but on the Esky the driver side heated seat doesn't work so from looking around it looks like the bottom element is bad so need that and the seat bottom

Ass warmer lolHaha my butt heating element is bad too. Waiting to do both , also on my list.
Lol! My ass warmers both seem to work correctly, at least according to my finally tuned cheeks, however the seat foam feels compacted on the outer bolster and the leather cover needs replacing anyway so I'm gonna just change all three parts together so I only have to do it once!Ass warmer lol

Did you go with an OEM heating element or a Dorman replacement? I can't decide which to go with and don't want to use cost alone as the deciding factor. They use different patterns for running the heating element wiring (OEM is a diamond mesh while Dorman is more of a zigzag pattern. Don't know if one is more effective than the other?). If you went Dorman I'd be interested to know if there is any noticable difference in heat output and also how long ago you did the change (concerned about long term reliability compared to OEM) thanks!!I've replaced lower heater element, unnecessarily, my lower cushion, and the foam underneath. All seperately. Lol. It's not too hard. Time consuming to do it right though. It's all worth it though!replacing the lower cushion makes it so much nicer looking, and the foam underneath makes it so much more comfortable!
I bought an oem replacement. Brand new from a chevy dealership in Texas that offers an online parts store via ebay. I also got my seat foam from them. Very effective. The heater element was replaced about a year and a half ago. Still works great. All 3 settings work exactly as they should.Did you go with an OEM heating element or a Dorman replacement? Nice! Yeah I've read mixed reviews about the Dorman replacements. My OEM heater elements are still functional in a now 11 year old truck and I only want to replace the driver's side while I've already got the seat apart to replace the foam cushion and leather seat cover anyhow. Haha you're just like me. "Oh one caliper seized? Better overhaul the entire brake system just to be sure!" LolJust one on either side but it's got 160k so figured it couldn't hurt to do them all since I got these cheap
