Brembo Brake Upgrade - Pad Part Numbers?

I needed new brakes as part of the 90K service on my 2023 Yukon and decided to upgrade to the Brembo brake package.

I know some owners have mentioned issues with the stock brakes and rotors, but personally I never experienced any problems with mine. That said, I also don’t tow, so others who do may have a different experience.

After the upgrade, I can say I absolutely love the Brembo’s. The pedal feel and responsiveness are noticeably improved — braking feels more confident and refined overall.

I’d definitely recommend them.

For anyone considering the upgrade, I purchased the kit online through the GMC website while they were offering a 25% discount code. You can also add dealer installation at checkout, and the parts shipped directly to the dealer for install, which made the process really easy.

I read that you may lose the brake pad wear sensors. Is this true? Can you still see this on your displays?

the brembos need a specific wear pad sensor, as it sits deeper in the caliper than the 4pistons - but it plugs into the same connector on the truck
but i was unable to reset pad % on the UI, i heard the dealer service needed if swapping just disables the wear pad sensors?
ive noticed i am unable to reset some other monitors (air filter life, fuel filter) if its not below 50% though so i may try again when it gets below there (sitting at like 54% now)
