I'm trying to start replacing the lines on my 03 tahoe but I can not get any of the lines. To brake free from the abs module. I have tried all that i can think of. Can I unbolt the abs module from the brake and cut the lines then use a socket? On the truck there isn't any room and I cant budge them. Thank you

I would think that you should be able to do that, but other members of this Forum much more knowledgeable than me in this area will chime in.

Did you try wire brushing the threads and soaking in some penetrating oil already?

Only thing with cutting the lines, you'll need all new lines...

You can certainly cut the lines as long as you're replacing them anyway. Once you have the ABS unit off the vehicle, use whatever methods necessary (penetrating oil, no mercy reversy, etc.) to remove the brake line fittings without damaging them, so your new lines will connect properly.
