Bose stereo lost left channel

2005 Tahoe with a Bose 6 disk stereo. Been working fine. On the way home tonight, it lost output from the left channel. Would this be the amp in the console, or the radio itself?

Could be the speaker. My daughters Malibu speaker quit out of the blue. Don’t know why when it’s just a simple device. Check that first as that is the simplest and cheapest.

It wasn't just 1 speaker, it was both front and rear left side speakers. Curious thing, I just went out and tried it after sitting for maybe 3, or so hours, and it's working fine again!
