So I'm pretty new here, and pretty new 'hoe owner, but long time Chevy owner. I have a 2011 Z-71 the mileage is about 40k. I have noticed that when accelerating not "hard" but not "driving Miss Daisy" slow there is a noticeable bog/flutter noise from the throttle intake. I already had a CAI on order so I figured I would check it out when I put on the CAI.

When installing the CAI, I had the wife ease in to the throttle (parked) so I could see what was going on with the throttle body butterfly. When she rev'ed it up, I could see the butterfly "flutter" and then go in to position. Is this normal, or is there something wrong with one of the TB sensors? Of course now with the CAI on there the noise is even more noticeable.

Thanks!

I would also clean your MAF.
Sometimes if you over oil your intake filter it can pass through and gunk up your MAF. Give that a shot and then get back to us.
Just a reminder, cleaning it will not have an immediate affect. You will need to drive it around a bit so the computer can re-set. May need to go on a cruise after you have her all cleaned up.

Sorry, guys, I have been super busy and have not had a chance to look at the MAF. I will pull it tonight and see. The strange thing about this is it was doing this noise when I first got it, with the factory intake on it. Not to say it is not a bad or dirty MAF. When the TB "flutters" I will describe it as a low pitched short burst of machine gun fire. (only for a second) maybe 4-6 "pulses". I can usually get it to do it if I am driving let of the accelerator, coast some, and then ease back in to it.
